How do I create a new milestone event?
Tap the "+" button on the Events tab. Enter the event name, select a type (exam, travel, wedding, etc.), choose the target date, and save. You can also add preparation items and notes.
What are preparation phases?
MilestonePrep automatically divides the time before your event into phases: Planning (30+ days), Preparation (8-30 days), Sprint (1-7 days), and Event Day. Each phase shows different messaging and you can assign tasks to specific phases.
How do notifications work?
When enabled, MilestonePrep sends local reminders at key countdown milestones: 30 days, 14 days, 7 days, 3 days, 1 day before, and on the event day. All notifications are processed locally on your device.
Can I sync events to my Calendar?
Yes! In the event detail view, tap the "More" menu and select "Add to Calendar." MilestonePrep will create an event in your iOS Calendar with automatic reminders. You need to grant calendar permission when prompted.
Is my data backed up?
MilestonePrep stores all data locally. Your data is included in your regular iCloud or iTunes device backups. We recommend maintaining regular device backups. If you uninstall the app, all data is permanently deleted.
Does the app collect any data?
No. MilestonePrep collects zero personal data. There are no analytics, no tracking, no ads, and no backend servers. Everything stays on your device. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do widgets work?
Add MilestonePrep widgets to your home screen or lock screen via the iOS widget picker. Widgets show your next upcoming event with a countdown and preparation progress. They update automatically every 30 minutes.
